Update.

Aw snap.

I haven't updated in MONTHS!!!

So. Update. Sweet baby boy is here!

Teagan was born April 16th.

I have continued to take a picture everyday

and today I actually edited some of them!

Anyway, I hope to keep this up and finish what I started!

Day 76, 77 and 78

Day 76

Can you guess what I was craving??

 We had coke floats, and watched Did you hear about the Morgans

It has been so nice outside! 

Today it got up to +17c at my inlaws!

  He might be silly, but he is my best friend.

It has been a bat crap crazy week.

In and out of LDR (will this child just come already?!),

trips out to the inlaws,

and all around nesting.

The first being my Husband.

And then a bit farther down the list is his last name.

Not only is it "a gooder" (as he puts it) but it is like royalty

in the town that we live in.

Day 71 & 72

I have fallen into my old habit of not posting everyday!

For that, I am sorry!

Here are yesterday's and today's pictures.

 I got to drive the truck home last night, as hubby drove his sister's mustang home.

 I have now washed 99% of the baby items (clothing, blankets...) that we have.

Today was the first time I hung them on the line to dry.

We had a busy day today,

We had hubby's piano moved from his parents house, 

to our house.

It is beautiful. 

I can't wait to hear him play!

I have been in and out of emerg and LDR since Monday morning.

I spent the night and got to eat hospital food.

Day 61 and 62

Yesterday was crap-tastic.

My body was angry with me, and I sure paid for it.

Today was much better, 

I made bread (and buns), showered, did my hair and make-up, and spent hours

on the computer.

We dropped the Seester in law off at the airport,

she is going on a much needed vay-cay. I am so jealous.

Yesterday we had company over,

Hubby asked if we could have cheesecake for desert!

Having never made it before, I set out.

IT WAS AMAZING.

Day 56 and 57

This weekend has been nuts.

Hence, no uploads until today.

Yesterday, Hubby and I went to the inlaws for steak.

It was amazing (as usual).

I took this picture of the horses on the way to the inlaws farm.

It is not their horses (oh how I wish), but the neighbours down the road.

How I love them so.

Today's picture is of a plow that is in a field across the "street" from my inlaws.

It is starting to look like spring!!

Day 55

Just a quick pic today!

I made bread today (it's in the oven as I type this)

 

 I've been craving pb&j sandwich's since I watched 

"The biggest loser" online last night.

And in my opinion, they are only worth eating on homemade

white bread.

Today we went out to the inlaws

where I snapped this picture.

It's the "Scoop Mobile".

I have had a love affair with this machine,

ever since I thought it was called

the "Poop Mobile".

Apparently it hasn't ran in years.

Ever since having the Italian Wedding soup

I have been craving meatballs.

So for supper tonight, I made them from scratch!

I am not a fan of meat

but these were amazing.

I found the recipe here

I did a half portion of the recipe (since there are only two of us)

and used oregano instead of italian seasoning and basil instead of parsley.

I also did 1/2 cup of dried parmesan instead 1/4 cup of fresh.

Hubby said it was a lot of parmesan, but I disagree.   

Day 50 and 51.

was a "quick pic" as we just got home from watching

CANADA beat the USA (in hockey)

and the closing ceremonies for the Olympics.

Day 51

It is starting to feel (and look) like spring outside!

Hubby and I decided to go for a walk and get some

groceries!

Yup, that's right, my hubby is a fire fighter.

Day 49

I know, I was doing so good with putting my pictures up that same day.

In my defense, I was only home for the morning yesterday.

I went to the city with a friend,

shopping, dinner and a movie.

What more could I want?!

Anyways I used my new toy yesterday morning.

 I realize I am no Bakerella  

but I sure tried!

Day 48

Tomorrow is my 21st birthday,

hubby suprised me by taking the day off

and taking me to the city!

We went to my FAVOURITE restaurant,

where I consumed massive quantities of my favourite soup.

Italian wedding soup.

I really should learn how to make it.

We then shared a pizza and went to the movies!

He also got me something I have been begging for!

A new KitchenAide mixer!

What an awesome way to spend the day!

Day 47

I've gone a little bump crazy.

I don't think it is the best I have done,

but I was in a hurry to see the Canada vs USA game!

(By the way, WE WON!)

Today I tried on my pre-pregnancy jeans.

Yesterday I didn't get home till late

Day 42

Today I started to prepare our prefold diapers.

It was a tough and long battle with pots of water and

wait, who are we kidding.  

I watched Burn Notice while preparing them.

Now, before you stop reading this 

because of some misconception about what green parenting is.

Today we folded and folded and folded (and "ooh'd and aww'd)

all of Sweet Baby Boy's clothes.

While putting them back in his room I decided to take this picture

And since I feel like a giant puffy version of myself,

I decided to take a picture of how I feel when I see myself.

Because the 31lbs I have gained haven't been enough

I decided to make cinnamon buns today.

Yup I'm brilliant.

And yes, it was amazing.

It's been almost six years

and I love this man more each day.

Nesting

Feeling the need to prepare for the arrival of the baby by cleaning, organizing, etc. Often happens toward the end of pregnancy.

I think I have started nesting, seriously I washed all of the little mans clothes and blankets today.

I wonder how much longer this phase will last.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today was the first V-day, hubby and I have spent together.

Even if it was only half a day, I am thankful.

Hubby even made my favourite breakfast for me!

I decided to start doing a mini series in honour of Valentines Day.

I know, for the most part, that everyone thinks that their husband is the best.

But they are wrong. 

My husband clearly outshines everyone else's.

My husband is the best

because:

He loves me, clearly this is not an easy task.

I am selfish, unmotivated, lazy, look like a beached whale, and whine...just to name a few.

He washes the dishes, even without me asking him. 

He bought me a new hard drive, to store all my pictures so that I wouldn't lose them again.

He reads to the baby, which clearly puts him at number 1.

He's a firefighter, which sometimes drives me nuts. 

He is patient with me, and really everybody else.

He is a hard worker, at one point he was working 3 jobs just to pay for my engagement ring

He is mine, this coming May we will have been together for 6 years. 

We were off-again-on-again dating that time but always within arms reach.
