Day 20, 21 and 22 (AKA BANF-Fa-Fa)

Banff = amazing...as usual.

I never realize how much I miss the mountains,

 until I see them towering in the distance.

Maybe it's from living on the prairies for the past 10ish years,

this BC girl just needs those mountains.

I do not know why I didn't post these here yesterday, I mean I put them on my flickr...

So Day 17, my friend threw me a Usborne book baby shower.

She even made peanut butter apple crisp. Best crisp ever.

Day 15 and 16

It really is beautiful outside, it is one of the only things that I

truly love about winter.

As much as i "love" winter, I can't wait for Spring and Summer. 

Mainly because SBB (Sweet Baby Boy) will be here, 

and because I won't feel like a beached whale.

Day 8 & 9

So last night I was far too tired to post anything. 

I did however take the picture for day 8.

I love love love my boots. 

 They are amazing.

Hubby made german pancakes, it was delightful.

Today's picture is of, well I will let you see if first. 

Yep, thats right, the Olympic torch came to my town today.

It was chaos. 

I hate large crowds. 

Good thing it is only a "once in a life time" thing.

Anyways, until tomorrow. 

Day 6

Knitting.

I am the old woman that knits. 

I'm not actually old, but I do knit. 

Currently I am knitting a baby blanket for baby.

Hopefully it will be done before he gets here.

Can't wait till he gets here. 

Mommy loves you baby. 

Day 5

Lets just say that I am a horrible horrible scrabble player. 

Worst than most. 

But with these tiles I don't really think it's my fault.

Needless to say, hubby won. 

Day 3 and day 4

So, yesterday was absolutely nut-bar. We went to the city to do our baby shopping, and needless to say...I over did it. 
We bought our stroller (Valco Baby Trimode EX)
we bought our play pen (or play yard...what ever you want to call it)
we bought our baby swing thing
and various other odds and ends...


So while my picture for yesterday has absolutely nothing to do with shopping...it has everything to do with the after math of shopping....

Thats right, a PINK bubble bath. Thanks to Lush's amazing bubble bars. Just what every woman (or man) needs, a soak in a nice relaxing bath.

Day 2

Today I snapped a picture of the leftover "mother-in-law" plants that currently reside in the half wall between the kitchen and living room...the wall will be coming out shortly...and the plants will not be staying. I do not possess a green thumb, nor do I intend to have one.

Day 1.

Today is day 1. 

Ground zero. 

The beginning. 

I am starting this as a challenge to myself.

I spend hours and hours reading blogs, and have blogged before and now I am picking up my pencil and starting it again. 

I wanted to do something that would combine my love of words and photography together.

A photo a day would be the perfect love child for my newly acquired spare time.

Something to keep me out of trouble, and keep these hands busy.

You see, my darling husband and I are expecting our first child (yep, yet another Mommy blog)

and because of "complications" that started at 22 weeks, I have been put on "almost bed-rest".

By "almost bed-rest" I mean, no more working, no more strenuous activities, you get the picture.

So, without further adieu, here is my first picture.
